M.V. Hansen ("Mickie") is a horror author in the Pacific Northwest. She focuses on cryptids, demons, and human monsters. Known for being a bit of a smart-aleck, Mickie weaves wit and humor into every creepy little scenario her twisted mind comes up with. She figures it this way: if you're not laughing, it's not gross enough.

The stories have one purpose - to entertain you. Count on a fair amount of moral ambiguity as told through big scary monsters and violent imagery. But try not to take them too seriously- we're just having a bit of fun.

Mickie does not shy away from creating disturbing imagery and ugly scenarios. You can expect gratuitous gore, cartoonish violence, and death in every story you read. With that said, Mickie does not write content that includes bigotry, sexual violence, or animal abuse.
